Record breaking weather head into this weekend. It’s great to see the sun shining on a weekend when most of us can enjoy it! Friday classes as normal and we hope everyone has some great plans for Saturday and Sunday.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Working hard!

April is starting off great and we are always moving forward. Testing is happening this week for children and teenagers. Tests will happen during normal class times, so just show as you would. Those not testing will continue to push hard and learn, so don’t miss your classes!

Enjoy the weather, enjoy the training and we’ll see you soon!

April is off to a great start. The warmer weather is feeling great! No I did not post anything on April 1st, their are no fools training at Lion’s Way, so no point in trying to trick them.

Testing for Children and Teens will start next week during normal class times. Classes will be split, so even if your not testing come on in and get some training done! You don’t get better sitting on the sideline. For those out for spring break, no worries, we’ll get to you when you get back.

Finally starting to feel like Summer Time! Have a great weekend!

Months end and beginning!

This week marks the end of March and the beginning of April! Change continues to be a theme for this year as warmer sunny days approach and some kids will be heading back to in person school. While nothing is set in stone, it’s nice to see some normalcy returning to our day to day lives.

Our classes are running strong and filling up quick. We’re pushing ourselves to accommodate everyone we can. It’s exciting to see children, teens and adults all getting back out and training strong again!

Let’s kick April into high gear! Time to get on the mats, get healthy and have some fun! We hope you will join us!

Moving forward…

Monday and Washington State had moved into phase 3. It’s nice to see a slide in the right direction for returning to normal. It’s important to stay diligent! We will continue to offer you the cleanest, safest environment for all your martial arts training.

Classes are running for Children, Teens and Adults! We hope to see you soon! Let’s have a great week!

It’s been a one year since our world changed. One year since things outside our control, took control of us. One year ago we were shut down. We were told it was for two weeks and it turned into months, into a year. Our lives changed, yet we moved on. We adapted and found new ways to do old things. Adapted more and created new ways that we never realized existed.

It has been a stressful year. A year where survival was not always guaranteed, but fought for constantly. A year where the support of our students, friends, family and surrounding community was often times the only thing to keep us going. Truly we never realized we had reached so many and to have them reach back to us was heart warming. We lost so much, but also gained in the help of others.

We have survived and continue to do so. It’s not over yet and the rebuilding process may take years. We shall seek to turn the hardships of life into the building blocks of things to come. For those that stuck with us through it all, for those that return to us and those that are finding us for the first time, welcome! Know that perseverance and dedication has seen us through the worst of times and that they will continue to push us into the best of times.

We have proved we are up to any challenge. Together we have made a difference. Together we shall be better than ever before.

From Lion’s Way Martial Arts to everyone out their, while we may look back on this last year with a heavy heart. We look forward to the future, knowing that our accomplishments will be that much sweeter in comparison.

Welcome to the New Year.

Looks like we’re in for a nicer weekend than we have seen in awhile! Great to have the weather getting warmer and the sun shining! We are getting closer to our next testing cycle for children and teens, only two weeks away! Keep training and making those gains.

Adults will continue as always, adding new throws, new positions and new submissions! Don’t miss out, make that mat time a priority!

Enjoy the weekend and we’ll see you on the mats come Monday!

Looking up…

Welcome to a new week! Things are looking up this week as it looks like the weather is going to give us some slightly warmer days! Might even be warm enough for us to get the doors and let the breeze come through for a while during training this week. Always adds a little extra energy to training.

Things are looking up as we head into spring, keep the positivity flowing! Train safe, train hard and we’ll see you soon!
